Hi I’m Mike. I’m passionate about working with people and using movement to elevate their wellbeing. My approach isn’t what you get with standard trainers: I have a professional background in ballet and contemporary dance, 10+ years experience in coaching movement and a Masters (MFA) in Dance Science and in Strength & Conditioning (MSc, currently 2nd year)

My approach

We are constantly learning and unlearning patterns. Some movement patterns serve us well while others don't. My coaching style aims to develop efficiency in your movement - engaging you in analytical discussion to help you to understand your motor system in an embodied and cognitive way.

My approach draws from a wide body of knowledge blending strength training, corrective exercise, developmental kinesiology & biomechanics. I work closely with clients to establish a roadmap to build your movement repertoire to help you navigate life. I believe that consistent, proper form feeds back to the body and helps it to move with integrity. I bring expert knowledge and experience to all my clients with humility, compassion and a smile. My aim is to make people feel comfortable, empowered and re-energised and to use their bodies in a new way to achieve their goals.

Where do I train?

I am based in South East London but can travel to your home for training. I can travel to central and surrounding areas of central London. I offer 1-1 and 1-2 sessions that can take place in a location of your choosing or at a gym in Elephant and Castle.
